ZENBOT SALON

Future Experience

Japanese New Wellness

While reinterpreting the core theme of “aimlessness,” we developed ZENBOT SALON, a concept designed to resonate globally. We positioned Morph inn, our key project with Bridgestone, at the center and created brand assets that express this worldview.

Issue

ZENBOT SALON blends cutting-edge technology with Japan’s Zen philosophy.

“Morph inn” (Morph Inn) is a purpose-free space where guests spend time with a soft robot created from rubber artificial muscles and motion-recording technology inspired by nature.

The project has launched experimental sites and paid services at four locations in Japan—Omotesando, Toranomon, Shimokitazawa, and Azabudai—testing a new “economy of nothingness” not found in conventional markets.

With future global expansion in mind, the team collaborated with Zen thought leader Toryo Ito, Vice Head Priest of Rinzai Zen Kennin-ji Ryosokuin, to reinterpret the core idea of “purposelessness” and develop ZENBOT SALON as a concept that resonates worldwide.

Creation

A New Wellness Experience from Japan

We refined the brand by fusing Morph’s distinctive soft-robotics experience with traditional Japanese Zen philosophy, shaping it into a new wellness concept from Japan. Built for a global audience, we developed brand assets to communicate a philosophy of “purposelessness” that frees people from goals and efficiency, inviting them to release control and fully surrender both body and mind.
